| Tom W. Miller parleyed eight years of higher education into a job as a cart guy at Sam’s Club, where he was an Employee of the Month. He never looked back. He has worked as a Research Associate at Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, and participated in a genetic study at the National Institutes of Health, where his DNA resides.
